In the days of online pinboards and digital whatever, it’s more crucial than ever to preserve the appeal of a handwritten dish and display it happily as art where it can be seen all the time.”
Before you begin, clean down the inside of your pie plate with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner to prepare it for painting. It’s crucial to keep in mind that some glass paint pens are not advised for direct contact with food.

Scan your dish, and scale up or down to fit the measurements of your pie plate. If possible, make the dimensions as big as you can– this will make painting the plate simpler.

Eliminate the paper copy and a comparable size sheet of graphite paper. Layer the graphite paper behind the copy of the recipe, position the darkest side face down on the plate, and tape it into place.
